Kinsey House System

This year, we are excited to introduce our Kinsey House System—a schoolwide community-building program designed to help every child feel known, valued, and connected.

The House System is not about competition. Instead, it is about creating meaningful relationships that help students develop a true sense of belonging across our entire school. Every student and staff member is welcomed into one of our four Houses, where they will build connections with students from different grade levels, celebrate one another, participate in service and leadership opportunities, and create lasting memories together.

Throughout the year, Houses will come together for special events, celebrations, and community-building activities. Students will also earn House points by demonstrating our Hotshot Habits and showing kindness, integrity, perseverance, and leadership in their daily actions. More information on the House points system will come your way soon.

When students know they are seen, supported, and part of something bigger than themselves, they are more confident, engaged, and ready to learn.

The goal is simple:

Every child known. Every child valued. Every child inspired.

We can't wait for you to experience the excitement of the Kinsey House System alongside your child.

Together, we are building more than a school—we are building a family.

The Kinsey House System stems from the Ron Clark Academy House System, which aims to build a vibrant school community by grouping students and staff into multigrade "houses" to foster a deep sense of belonging. It shifts the focus from individual discipline to collective accountability and healthy competition, motivating students to excel in academics and leadership.

Click through the tabs to learn more about how the Kinsey House System helps motivate students to be excellent:

Students build relationships with children and adults beyond their classroom and grade level.

Students have opportunities to lead, contribute ideas, welcome new students, and help shape house experiences.

Our four houses connect directly to Kinsey's FIRE Values: Friendship, Integrity, Respect, and Empathy.

House points, celebrations, friendly competitions, service, lunches, assemblies, and traditions make Kinsey memorable.

What is a House System?

Our Kinsey Houses

Every student and staff member is sorted into a House, creating a sense of belonging, pride, and family. These Houses promote values such as friendship, bravery, giving, dreams, success, kindness, unity, and uplift. Through healthy competition, students earn points for demonstrating excellence in academics, behavior, and leadership. This system encourages positive behavior, builds confidence, and motivates students to support one another. House events, chants, and celebrations bring energy and unity to the entire school. Students feel seen, valued, and empowered to grow into the best version of themselves.

At Kinsey, we have fours houses:
